New York Public Library’s 2020 Summer Reading - NYC NYCHA
New York Public Library’s 2020 Summer Reading program is offering age-appropriate books for young people, from toddlers through high school in English or Spanish at a total of ten different NYCHA locations over five days, mid-July. Books will come in a free tote bag and include a summer reading guide, stickers, and a reading tracker. Find locations on the linked site.

Virtual School Day: Nearly 200 free, live K-12 classes available all day long intended to help parents fill their children’s day with enriched learning. Virtual Summer Camps: Free half-day summer camps are a week long, with enrichment-based classes in subjects like foreign languages, chess, theater, coding, and Minecraft. Varsity Learning Tools: More than 250,000 free practice problems in over 200 subjects. Also available as mobile applications.

Free Online Tutoring for NYC Students
All K-12 NYC public school students (or, parents and teachers on these students’ behalf) can sign up to be matched with a tutor and college students can sign up to tutor on our home page. In the event that we have extra tutors available to match, we will consider matching students from outside the NYC area (again, we will prioritize those who are low-income).
