NYS COVID-19 Tracker

NY State launched a COVID-19 tracker to provide comprehensive testing data to the public. The site will be updated daily with the latest data, presents visualizations of statewide and county-level testing and results.


Planned Parenthood Online

Planned Parenthood of Greater New York health centers are taking necessary precautions to protect our patients’ and staff members’ safety during the COVID crisis.

All services will be virtual, except for abortion services and select in-person visits. To book an appointment, please use the zip code on their website. If you are experiencing a fever OR cough OR shortness of breath OR sore throat, please do not come to a PP health center. They do not offer COVID testing at this time.


How to Make Your Own Cloth Face Covering

CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies), especially in areas of significant community-based transmission.

CDC also advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others. Cloth face coverings fashioned from household items or made at home from common materials at low cost can be used as an additional, voluntary public health measure.

Adults and children age 5 and older can video chat with a care provider while at home, work, or on the go. This service is for patients who have minor medical conditions, and not for emergencies. For emergencies, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency care location. Many insurances are accepted, please check the list.
